Negus Comfort Booster -
Truck loading booster from Lusatia!
Freezing cold nights, hot summer days, endless downtimes at rest stops – anyone traveling long distances knows the problem: the battery dies after 4 hours, the air conditioning and heating switch off, and reaching for the ignition key becomes an emergency solution. This is exactly where our patented solution from Lusatia comes in: The Negus Comfort Booster for trucks with temperature-controlled goods keeps truck batteries at a constant 90-100 percent during legally prescribed rest periods!
Lower diesel consumption
Relaxing rest periods
Less CO₂ emissions
Efficient, unique and eligible
The Negus Comfort Booster for trucks with temperature-controlled goods is much more than a classic loading booster – it is a genuine innovation “Made in Lusatia” and has been registered for a patent under the title “Circuit arrangement between a refrigerated box semi-trailer and the associated tractor unit”. Retrofitting is particularly worthwhile for logistics companies and freight forwarders: as an eligible product, the Comfort Booster can be subsidized via regional programs (up to 80% for purchase and installation). This allows you to make sensible use of investment funds, modernize your fleet and at the same time focus on greater sustainability and driver comfort – with minimum effort but maximum effect.
Why the Negus Comfort Booster is ideal for your company and your drivers
In short: the Negus Comfort Booster is more than just an efficiency gain – it is a real step forward for your fleet. By reducing the energy requirement to a minimum in standby mode, you avoid unnecessary fuel consumption and engine running times – a decisive contribution to greater economy, longer battery life and, above all, greater sustainability.

The Negus Comfort Booster for trucks with temperature-controlled goods helps you to introduce an energy management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 50001 or EMAS. As well as a measure to comply with the Energy Efficiency Act (EnEfG):
It helps you to implement the targets from the Energy Efficiency Act of 18.11.2023. All companies with an annual average total energy consumption of more than 2.5 gigawatt hours in the last three completed calendar years are obliged to draw up and publish concrete, feasible implementation plans for all identified final energy saving measures that have been assessed as economically viable within three years at the latest.
In addition, companies with an annual average total final energy consumption of more than 7.5 gigawatt hours within the last three completed calendar years are obliged to set up an energy or environmental management system. This review of the total energy consumption must be carried out by each company at the beginning of the year retrospectively for the last three calendar years.
Total energy consumption also includes the fuel consumption of the truck fleet. There are no exemptions for SMEs. To estimate the fuel energy consumption:
1 liter of diesel (EN 590) corresponds to just under 10 kWh of energy content.
(1 GWh=1 million kWh; 1 million kWh=100,000 liters of diesel (EN 590); 2.5 GWh=250,000 liters of diesel (EN 590)).
For companies
The Negus Comfort Booster for trucks with temperature-controlled goods enables companies to modernize their fleet in a future-proof way – with financial relief through targeted funding programs. At the same time, you are sending out a strong signal for innovative spirit, sustainability and practical technology.
We can prove that we have generated the following fuel consumption benefits in the vehicles that have been fitted with the system:
1 truck approx. 1,500 liters p.a. x 1.33 Euro net = 1,995.00 € p.a. x 4 year holding period (leasing)
1,995.00 x 4 years = € 7,980.00 total for an investment of approx. € 2,000 without subsidy.
We have 9 vehicles = € 17,955.00 p.a… Now calculate your vehicles!
Further advantages
- Maintenance of the vehicle batteries, protection of the NOX sensors, no costs for jump starts in the
- Winter, rested drivers, etc
- The immediate added value for drivers cannot be expressed in monetary terms.
For drivers
Our drivers are the biggest winners: finally relaxed rest periods without having to leave the engine running when stationary. This not only ensures greater comfort and safety, but also a more conscious, environmentally friendly everyday driving experience – uncomplicated and reliable.
Rested drivers have fewer accidents, are more motivated and minimize illness…
Drivers are no longer compelled to violate the applicable law of the STVO, as §30 Para. 1 states: “When using vehicles, unnecessary noise and avoidable exhaust pollution are prohibited. In particular, it is prohibited to leave vehicle engines running unnecessarily […].”
The Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG) also prohibits leaving the engine running unless there is a need to do so. This is stated in §38 Para. 1 Sentence 2 BImSchG:
“Motor vehicles must be operated in such a way that avoidable emissions are prevented and unavoidable emissions are kept to a minimum.”
Driver voices
“Lack of sleep is a huge issue in our profession. This increases the risk of accidents. Everything is fine during the journey, but as soon as it’s time to rest for the day, the stress begins. Without the parking cooler running, it’s almost impossible to sleep – and after a few hours the battery is flat.”
“It was particularly brutal during the hot summer weeks: over 35 degrees outside and up to 60 degrees inside the cab. Of course you leave the air conditioning running – but then at some point the battery is flat. Then all you can do is keep the engine running – which disturbs other drivers who need their rest time.”
From practical application to idea
The Negus Comfort Booster was developed from precisely this: a practical solution that reliably ensures energy conservation in trucks without interfering with existing systems. The first endurance test: The company’s own fleet. 9 drivers, 9 vehicles – the result was clearly positive. The great potential was particularly evident in refrigerated transport: constant energy supply, lower downtime costs, more relaxed drivers and this is possible for all companies.
How nice would it be to run the heating in winter or the air conditioning in summer WITHOUT hearing the hum of the engine?
How does the Negus Comfort Booster work?
At the heart of our solution is an intelligent priority circuit that ensures that the energy supply to the on-board batteries is maintained in a targeted manner while the vehicle is on the move, but even more importantly when it is at rest. Instead of costly retrofitting or running the engine unnecessarily, the Negus Comfort Booster uses this priority circuit to keep the batteries permanently at a stable level of between 90 % and 100 % – without any intervention by the driver.
In future, this will also be supported by an app for drivers. It doesn’t matter whether the trailer is a new vehicle or an older one.
And what’s special: All the components used are already available and approved on the market – it is the well thought-out arrangement that makes the decisive difference. This is how a real innovation is created from the familiar.
